چکیده

Oscillators are rarely strictly periodic but rather fluctuate irregularly over time. The fluctuations arise from the combined influences of the fluctuating environment, i.e. external noise due to the environmental perturbations or stochastic variations of externally set parameters, intrinsically random nature of chemical reactions, i.e. internal noise due to random transitions among discrete chemical states, and biological variance, i.e. differences between cells [1, 2]. The continual interaction between the fluctuating environment and individual internal feedback mechanisms makes the separation of dynamics impossible. Noise-induced robust collective behaviors have yet not been well understood because the phenomenon contradicts to our intuitiveness and most previous works on robustness were performed on how to maintain performances in the faces of noise [3, 4].

Noise-induced Robust Collective Behaviors in a Multicellular System

The effects of an additive noise due to stochastic environmental fluctuations on robust collective behaviors in a population of oscillators with dynamical coupling are investigated. We show that an appropriate noise intensity may induce robust collective behaviors by compensating the coupling inefficiency, reducing the coupling redundance, and eliminating the sensitive dependence on initial con...

طراحی سیستم مخابراتی امن با استفاده از سنکرونکردن سیستمهای آشوبی

In this paper, the concept of secure synchronization of chaotic systems using adaptive and robust techniques , has been discussed and then a new secure communication scheme, based on secure synchronization of a general class of chaotic systems called Generalized Lorenz System, are presented. This communication scheme is combination of conventional cryptographic methods and chaotic modulation me...

Adaptive Fractional-order Control for Synchronization of Two Coupled Neurons in the External Electrical Stimulation

This paper addresses synchronizing two coupled chaotic FitzHugh–Nagumo (FHN) neurons with weakly gap junction under external electrical stimulation (EES). To transmit information among coupled neurons, by generalization of the integer-order FHN equations of the coupled system into the fractional-order in frequency domain using Crone approach, the behavior of each coupled neuron relies on its pa...

A Robust Feedforward Active Noise Control System with a Variable Step-Size FxLMS Algorithm: Designing a New Online Secondary Path Modelling Method

Several approaches have been introduced in literature for active noise control (ANC)systems. Since Filtered-x-Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm appears to be the best choice as acontroller filter. Researchers tend to improve performance of ANC systems by enhancing andmodifying this algorithm. This paper proposes a new version of FxLMS algorithm. In many ANCapplications an online secondary pat...

Mean-field coupling of calcium oscillations in a multicellular system of rat hepatocytes.

In a multicellular system of rat hepatocytes and even in an intact liver, cytoplasmic calcium oscillations are synchronized and highly coordinated. In this paper, the mean-field coupling term has been introduced to describe the coupling flux, which is more efficient than gap junctional coupling terms. An optimal coupling strength and an optimal stimulation level for the synchronization of the c...
